Covid-19 is a new illness that can affect your lungs and airways. It is caused by a virus called Coronavirus. Symptoms can be mild, moderate, severe, or fatal.
It is the Policy of FunkyDory Kidz (Company) to ensure and protect all employees and any other people connected with the company due to the Coronavirus Pandemic 19 (Covid – 19).
FunkyDory Kidz follows the Scottish Government Guidelines with the utmost importance to keep ourselves and our customers safe by ensuring all business activities can only take place with the appropriate social distancing, P.P.E, and thorough cleaning procedures including disinfecting for all our equipment.
We understand the safety of our customers and our business and with regards to cross-contamination between household all our equipment will have its quarantine period of 72 hours before equipment will be thoroughly disinfected and then safely stored away until the next hire – this will involve everything that can be machine washed at 40/60 Degrees and other items which cannot be machine washed will be steamed and wiped down with disinfectant. Upon the next hire, the equipment will also be cleaned before it is due for hire.
With each hire, FunkyDory Kidz will provide disinfectant wipes and hand sanitizer for each booking to allow customers to wipe down applicable surfaces. We will also provide Laundry bags for all customers that require one with their booking to place their dirty laundry in the bag to help prevent cross-contamination on other surfaces.
FunkyDory Kidz will be practicing strict hygiene practices when we are to enter customer’s homes or event premises. We will be wearing masks and fresh clean clothing whilst carrying our cleaning kit and hand sanitizer to prevent any cross-contamination.
All customers must notify FunkyDory Kidz as soon as possible if they are presenting any symptoms of Covid-19 or have tested positive and if the following arise from the FunkyDory Kidz household we will immediately contact our customer and reserve the right to cancel. We will allow any booking that is cancelled due to Covid – 19 whether that be due to the Customer or FunkyDory Kidz contracting Covid-19 or presenting symptoms to be moved to a new date.

How do FunkyDory Kidz use all the customers personal information ?
Firstly, it is our upmost priority to keep all personal information safe, electronically or on paper form. Once we receive each online booking form , this is stored safely electronically and is also printed for our record keeping. All documents on file, are stored for 5 years for business purposes, all information that is electronically received, is saved on a password protected computer only accessed by FunkyDory Kidz. All information that is kept is proportionate and secure. All information is kept for 5 years them destroyed securely and safely.
All this information is used to provide each customer with the service they have requested and for FunkyDory Kidz to liaise with each customer until the service that is required is complete.
FunkyDory Kidz do not share any of our customer's non-personal/personal information with any third party companies. We do not use any of our customers non-personal/personal information for marketing purposes.
How do FunkyDory Kidz communicate with our customer's?
We may contact all customers regarding their product or party/event booking from the personal information supplied by each customer.
